Ultra Sharp Diamond Sharpening Stone 300/1200 Grit Double Sided w/ Holder
I regularly use these exact diamond stones in many of my YouTube videos on knife making. I go through a progression of 300, 1200, and 3000 grit diamond stones, but for most applications the 300/1200 grit double sided stone is all you really need for shaving sharp knives. I think this diamond stone set is the simplest way for someone to start sharpening their own knives and get professional results. Pair them with the Wedgek angle guides, Trend lapping fluid, and a leather strop loaded with diamond paste to complete your sharpening setup.
In this order you’ll get a double sided diamond stone, 300-grit on one side, and 1200 grit on the other, an adjustable rubber stone holder, and instructions on how to use and maintain your stone.
Why Diamond Sharpening Stones?
The key difference between diamond stones and water or oil stones is they work faster, are more durable, do not need to be flattened, do not need to be soaked in water, and no oil is needed.
They quickly sharpen anything with a cutting edge including high carbon, stainless and the hardest tool steels.
Because they sharpen fast and are easy to use diamond stones are quickly becoming the choice of wood-workers, chefs, knife-owners and sportsmen alike.
Those that have been frustrated with other types of sharpeners really like the results they get using these diamond stones.
A Cleaner, Easier Way to Sharpen Knives & Tools
The key features of Ultra Sharp Stones are the quality of the diamonds, the carefully graded particle size and the dense, even distribution of the diamonds on the stones. The combination of these features makes the stones reliable, durable and an exceptional value.
Ultra Sharp diamond sharpening stones are made from high quality monocrystalline diamonds electroplated to the surface of solid, steel plates. There is no glue or plastic used. This manufacturing process ensures the stones will handle the toughest jobs and last the average user a lifetime.
